Model 1859 Carbine Sling Buckle, in perfect condition, an olive to copper green patina, found at an Indian Wars fort site. This model was used through out the Civil War and Indian Wars, being substituted by various experimental models until finally replaced by the model 1885 carbine sling. The 1859 was then issued until supplies were exhausted. |
